Skateboard Hunt Knives

Added on by Andrew Szeto.

From cutting down anything that comes your way on the trails, our Skateboarding Hunt Knife is ready to be at your side! Our blades are extremely corrosion resistant and made from high quality, aircraft grade 440C stainless steel. The cutting edge has a length of 4” and overall length of 9”. The handles made of colorful rock-hard North American maple, each knife has a rich history and instead of heading to the landfill, they're hand sanded and completed with a sustainable vegan oil & wax finish. The veg tan leather sheath will also keep the knife tucked away safely and will stain with your adventures over time.

These broken skateboards come from the "For Pivot Sake" Program which provides skateboarding-related programming and used complete setups for underprivileged youth in Ottawa, Canada and Iqaluit, Nunavut. 10% of proceeds go back to the program.

Hey folks! We're now working with one of our favourite tannery's, Horween Leather. Horween is an American staple and we've been huge fans of their chromexcel finish. Softer, beautiful processes and a world renowned leather, this is a product we're really stoked on. We've now got brown 9 oz. chromexcel leather straps available in our webstore.

The Pixel Stick

Added on by Andrew Szeto.

So we recently picked up Bitbanger Lab's Pixelstick and finally had a chance to play with it. It's a pretty sweet tool in which you get to input your own graphics and draw them into your long-exposure photographs. Out of the box, the pixelstick sets up pretty quickly and within your first exposure, you're probably making some magic! We recommend checking out Total Training's youtube video on how they use it.

At a price of about $300 USD, this tool is quite a bit of fun for the light photography enthusiast! It will definitely help you take your work to the next level. To check out some of the epic work and inspiration done with this, check out the PXLSTK group pool on flickr and also Bitbanger lab's vimeo staff picked video.

We'll be looking to use this fairly extensively over the next month or two, so stay tuned for more awesomeness. For now, here are some previews.
